Stoneleaf Nursery is a Wholesale Grower and Re-Wholesaler located in Central Illinois. We grow superior plants — from the tried and true, to the latest selections. Our plant palette includes grasses, perennials, shrubs, evergreen and deciduous trees. In 2019 wholesale hanging baskets were also added to our production. All plant material is Zone 5 or lower.
We understand your time is money. We deliver on Gooseneck Trailers and Enclosed Box Truck to your shop or job site right when you need the plant material, in the goal of improving your team’s efficiency.

OUR STORY
Our roots were established in 1993, when John & Gloria Cottrell opened a landscape business just outside Eureka, IL. As the business grew, they found themselves spending a lot of time searching for high quality plant material for their job sites. As business owners with a growing family, they acutely understood the value of time. They began growing their own plants as a way to supplement their need and save themselves time and frustration in the process. In 2004, Stoneleaf Nursery was officially formed in order to expand and offer their plants to other contractors and garden centers. In 2018, the Cottrells sold their landscape business to focus solely on Stoneleaf Nursery. Today, they run the daily operations along with their three sons.
Every year we’ve continued to grow as we strive to meet the needs of our valued customers. We still strive for the same goal as when we started: to supply high-quality plants that perform exceptionally well here in the Midwest, at a reasonable cost.
