ABOUT
Stoneleaf Nursery is a grower and re-wholesaler of premium nursery stock. We grow a wide range grasses, perennials, shrubs and trees proven to perform well in Central Illinois. We grow different rotating crops of the same perennial so we often have them in bloom throughout the growing season. This allows Contractors & Garden Centers to enjoy “Bud and Bloom” plants most of the year.
OUR HOLDING YARD
While we have some field grown stock of our own, we don’t grow all of our own stock. We bring in material from other nurseries, who we not only have strong relationships with but are industry standouts. All stock is vetted for high quality, liner/seed source and overall plant health. Container stock takes place of Ball and Burlap during summer so high quality material, unstressed trees are available all year long.
CONTAINER-GROWN PLANTS
We grow a variety of products here at Stonleaf. Perennials and grasses are grown in 1-gallon containers; some grasses are also grown in a 3-gallon. The smallest shrubs we grow start in a 2-gallon while the largest are 10 & 15 gallon larger specimen or tree form plants. Many of our perennial and shrubs come out of the Proven Winners and Proven Winners Color Choice Flowering Shrubs line.
